For this year (October 1, 2024 through September 30, 2025), the notable changes to the proposed City budget are that it will double annual funding for street maintenance from $2 million to $4 million, will add 7 positions in the Police Department, will fund efficiency audits for the permitting process in Development Services, Information Technology processes and the Fleet Services department, and will use cash reserves (rather than debt) to replace an aging fire truck, ambulance and playground equipment.

What is your overall reaction to these budget changes?

The City's website currently offers many "digital City Hall" experiences, with City services you can do online yourself in the list below.

Which of the online services that we offer are most useful to you, if any? (You can choose up to FIVE, if any)

In general, which is your preference for City services in the future?

Inflation affects the City’s budget just like it affects your household budget. In upcoming years, if more funding is needed for City services because of continued inflation, which do you think would be the best ways to adapt? (You can choose up to FOUR, if any)

Any other comments or suggestions about future budgeting?
