The City of Plymouth is seeking input on allowing backyard chickens and/or bees in single-family zoning districts. Chickens and bees are currently regulated as farm animals and only allowed in areas zoned for future development, which make up a small percentage of the city.

If the city were to allow backyard chickens, would your household get chickens?

If the city were to allow backyard bees, would your household get bees?

Would you support your neighbors having up to four chicken hens (no roosters), if they had proper independent training and a licensing process to make sure they obeyed all ordinances?

Would you support your neighbors having up to two honeybee hives, if they had proper independent training and a licensing process to make sure they obeyed all ordinances?

Any other comments or suggestions about allowing backyard chickens or the keeping of bees within city limits?
