During winter storms, Town of Natick crews begin treating streets when freezing precipitation starts, and plowing typically begins once about 2 inches of snow have accumulated and more is expected. Major roadways and emergency routes are cleared first, followed by neighborhood streets, school properties, municipal lots, and then sidewalks. Snow operations continue around the clock until travel conditions are safe across the Town’s 160 roadway "lane miles" and approximately 46 "sidewalk miles" of Town-managed sidewalks (about 32% of total sidewalk miles).

Which best describes where you live?

Please rate your overall satisfaction with the Town of Natick's snow removal on Town-managed roadways and sidewalks.

Town staff is considering the proposal of a new bylaw (subject to Town Meeting approval) that would require all property owners to clear snow from the sidewalks on their property.

Generally speaking, would you support a requirement for residents and businesses to clear the snow on the sidewalks crossing their property?

Which of the following possible snow removal changes would you prioritize, if any? (You can choose up to FOUR)

Any other comments or suggestions about snow removal in the Town of Natick?
