The City of Keene is exploring the possibility of installing a large banner system across Main Street downtown. It would span about 80 feet (four traffic lanes and the median) across Main Street from Emerald Street to Eagle Court (between The Works Café and Ted’s Shoe & Sport).

How effective do you think a Main Street banner would be for increasing awareness of downtown Keene events, businesses and services for residents and visitors?

How much do you agree or disagree with the following statement:

"The installation of a large, regularly changing banner across Main Street would add to the vibrancy and appeal of downtown Keene."

The estimated one-time installation cost to the City would be about $50,000 for the banner support structures.

Do you think this would be a good investment for the City of Keene?

Any other comments, concerns or suggestions about a possible Main Street banner project?
