On March 27, 2025 the City of Georgetown had its annual “State of Our City” event with an open house to meet City departments, followed by the Mayor and City Manager giving a presentation highlighting significant events and major projects completed in 2024 and previewing what’s to come in 2025. Their address covered growth, transportation, parks, public safety, water and electric utilities, the Texas Legislature, and more.
