The City of Fairfield is exploring options for a possible new soccer complex. One available site is property owned by the Fairfield Suisun Sewer District (FSSD) off Cordelia Road between Chadbourne Road and Beck Avenue. The available land is more than twice the size of the existing Octo Sports Complex site and would serve the community well into the future. 

The site is next to the Fairfield Suisun Wastewater Treatment Plant, so during hot and dry weather there can be odors coming from the plant.

The site is also next to the Suisun Marsh. This means that there are times of the year where mosquitos are present and active, despite mitigation efforts.
