Does your household currently own any dogs?

The City of De Soto’s animal control policy restricts the ownership of “dangerous animals,” which currently includes all Pit Bull dog breeds (Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers, American Staffordshire Terriers, dogs of any mixed Pit Bull breed, or any dog which has the appearance and characteristics of being predominantly Pit Bull).

Prior to reading this, did you know that the City of De Soto does not allow residents to own a Pit Bull?

Which ONE best describes your opinion of the City's current animal control ordinance regarding Pit Bull ownership?

When thinking about possible changes to our animal control policy that might allow Pit Bull ownership, which of the following do you think are the most important to consider, if any? (You can choose up to FIVE, if any)

Any other comments or suggestions about animal control in De Soto?
