No parking of boats and RVs on incline village streets
For people of Incline Village on Facebook to get over it. There is always a place to park. The small group of facebook freaks make this town toxic
Stop advertising Incline village to outside the state of Nevada.
Don't allow RV's and boat trailers to be parked on the street. They should be in a driveway or storage. They are an eyesore and make Incline Village look like a cheap trailer park.
Don't line the rich neighborhoods with rock lined roadsides preventing people from parking while filling in the ditches in poor neighborhoods like Oriole Way. It's very upsettig how that all happened. There are too many people with multiple vehicles. The more parking you create the more cars, boats, and trailers people collect. Especially in poor neighborhoods. We have reached carrying capacity. Incline Village is NOT a city. Let people park along roadways but don't make it worse for the poor and better for the rich. Another thing. The Hyatt got so greedy with their parking lot that they turned country club into a dangerous situation of more cars parked along the road throughout the year.
I'd like to see the boat trailers at diamond peak with a shuttle and free up more parking at the Village Green, aka, dog park.
The people complaining on the internet about people parking on streets in Incline Village or Crystal Bay.
Since we do not have a permanent dog park and have to use the Village Green and trail system (par course??); I would want a minimum of 15 car spaces at the Village Green and/or Overflow lot dedicated to picture pass holders with a dog in the car.
Fill in the ditches where they laid the big rock for erosion control and cover over to add more parking especially on Lakeshore and Village. FINE homeowners who put out large rocks or cones in the RIGHT IF WAY to keep people from parking in front of their house. How selfish is that?
No overnight parking on residential streets No RV parking in streets in Incline Village We’ve had (multiple out of town) RVs camping outside our home.... dirty laundry, towels, and bikes all over the place. The drunken partying and noise is so disrespectful. My husband asked one RV family to please turn it down at 10pm. The guys reaction was drunken, nasty and obscene.
Parking restrictions in prime parking spaces - i.e. village green limited to 72 hours.
STOP boat trailer parking. Enforce existing parking laws. Fine and confiscate any CA registrations parked illegally. Disallow street parking around beaches. Limit parking at village green to RESIDENTS only. Make all boa trailer parking in overflow only
overflow cars and boat trailers on Village Blvd. during summer has been a problem.
2 hour free parking except for Incline Village residents
Issue parking tickets for vehicle parked more than three days for the congested areas of town. I.e. Incline way, Village etc...
I would rather see cars parked roadside than making more parking lots. If people find it visually or inconvenient to use roadside parking of RVs and trailers, then incentivize folks to use existing parking lots like diamond peak and the schools. Add bike Lanes all over town. The village sidewalk is used a lot. I imagine safe bike Lanes would be very popular and minimize parking and traffic issues too.
Eliminate VRBO, AirBNB street parking (or eliminate VRBO, AirBNB in the Village all together), reduce legal trailer and boat street parking to 48 hours at a time (use a tag or chalk mark on tires system as in some cities), stop all IVGID supported activity that encourages non-residents to drive into the Village.
Eliminate all recreational vehicles from street parking . Long term boat, trailer, and camper parking ruins the village atmosphere. Looks dumpy and not classy. Why should someone be able to park their vehicle on the street all summer and ruin views of homeowners? Doesn’t seem fair to residents .
Add street parking near beach on Village. There is all that room along McCloud, you just need about 8 inches more and people can park there. Actual parking spaces with sidewalks would do wonders in many places around the area (country club, lakeshore)
SNC must charge students for parking, so instead they park along Country Club and Mill Creek, making visibility to turn unsafe. I take my dog to the Village Green to play, and since there isn't enough parking in Aspen Grove Parking, and it's convenient for me, I park along Incline Way. In the Summer it is often filled with boat trailers and RV's. I can usually find somewhere else to park, but it seems unfair for those vehicles to hog those for spaces for an extended period of time. I understand there are special weeks where there are going to be parking issues, and I can deal with that and plan ahead, But on a daily basis, it doesn't seem fair or safe.
I would like to see our current regulations enforced. Ticket cars parked on the street on snow days to allow plows to do their job. Also boats parked all summer long on our street when the residents are absent. I believe there is a limited number of days they should be left. I've also seen people camping in RV's on our village streets during the summer which I think shouldn't be allowed.
tow tow tow...the sides of the streets are not supplement or free parking...boats, trailers, and surplus cars are making our village a mess. How can the snow plows do their work when there are so many parked on the side, then when the vehicles are plowed in it looks like a disaster area of spring 'blooming' cars. Ugly Ugly Ugly. Makes Incline look like a third world country
If IVGID would eliminate the “day beach passes” where the property owner doesn’t need to be present to let “guests” in, it would eliminate the Lakeshore parking problem. Not sure when this changed, but we no longer have “private” beaches, which was a major factor in us purchasing our house in Incline Village 22 years ago.
Allow parking down Village and other main streets in the summer time. Instead we are overflowing into neighborhoods which seems very unfair to them.
I think sidewalks on both sides of Juanita Dr and Village Dr with street parking.
Get rid of the square curbs on village near the beach, too hard for low slung cars to park legally by rolling over them. Need to keep cars/trucks/trailers on the proper side of the white line around town so make sure its not difficult for them. Also get rid of the no parking signs near the new bike trail - dumbest thing ever to take public parking spots away, they have had huge value to the community for years and there is no good reason for us to give them up. If you want paid parking, give locals parking permits to park on the road where we've always parked
