I am not a fan of e-billing because it usually comes to my email or account and if something happens to me my wife may not be aware of the bill or when to pay it. If there was a way to send a reminder to more than one contact when a bill is ready to review that might help.
I am currently on the level pay plan. I would like to see information on my bill which tracks my usage for the year through the currently billed month while comparing last years usage up to the same time. This would help me determine if I need to pay more or less going forward so that I would end-up with a near normal reconciliation bill in May. Southern California Edison does this and I find it to be an extremely useful tool to help me control/budget the amount I pay per bill and help prevent large reconciliation bills which are also in the month of May.
Offer a discount for email billing.
Like to control when I pay my bill.
I was signed up for computer billing however now that I have two accounts (two houses) the meters are read (and billed ) at different times. This seems to make the computer billing harder to keep track of. I also have to have two separate passwords for each account. Ugh, another thing to remember!
I pay through my bill pay at my bank because your payment system is outdated and slow.
Send e-bills to online banking
Alternate billing month with trash bill that is also billed every other month
I was so excited to see that CVWD now has bill paying on-line, but when I tried to pay it, the website was down all weekend.
The ability to receive and pay bill with third party bill pay like mycheckfree
Mail bills and allow time for one to return payment and not get charged with late fee
Billing monthly will help you conserve water because you would know sooner if you were using more in a month.
Always allow us the option of paper billing.
Work with Bank of America to setup electronic billing through them. That way my e-bill goes right to the bank and I'll see it when paying my other bills.
Billing is fine. Water conservation seems to be important to CVWD as long as more apartments, townhomes, houses and hotels are given permission to be built by the RC City Council. I would like to conserve water for the environment, not for a massive increase in building in the city which will over burden water consumption already. When I get my bill is not nearly as important as conserving water by not building more apartments, townhomes, condos, houses and hotels. Thank you for the opportunity to add comments.
Another reason that I would prefer monthly billing is that it would allow us to better monitor our water usage, and make adjustments each month instead of every two months if needed.
Get most customers on e-billing and then those who desire paper bills will be charged a penalty to receive a paper bill. Don't we pay enough already in our bills. This is a bogus way to get customers to pay for this over-priced renewable utility's office expenses.
Your rates are too high...what are you doing to reduce my bill. You are allowing more building which will stress our supply even more....there should be a moratorium and a separate rate structure for new construction!!!!!
I hope that if CWWD goes to monthly billing, that they will not use this as an opportunity to increase their rates.
I would prefer to paperless bill using a credit card automatically every month. That way I wont get the paper bill and forget to pay it. I do not like giving access to direct bank account withdrawals.
I liked when it was not due at the same time as our trash bill and it was clearly ever other month
Monthly bills would be best as my water bill is always very high.
Maybe bill every 2 months but offer a 1/2 payment plan for those who need it. Allowing them to pay over 2 months.
Monthly billing would be better for budgeting.
Current billing process of every other month causes the payment due date to fluctuate. That makes it harder to remember when the payment is due and has caused me to receive a late fee in the past. Billing every month should resolve that payment due date issue.
Reduce my water bill. I do not believe it is accurate.
SCE and SoCalGas both offer options to pay your estimated annual bill in 12 payments. Making it easier to budget, when you bill is always the same - instead of huge summer bills and scarce winter bills
I get an electronic alert that my bill is due and a paper copy is sent as well. I prefer electronic only.
Did a wonderful job on installing copper pipes on my street (Alencon Dr) rancho 91730. Quick, clean, responsive, informative employees. Great job. Your billing is fine as it is.
Make your website billing easier to access, it’s complicated as of now. Try to make it more like Power and gas with easier pay options
They save money on paperless billing but I get $0.00 for it, this is wrong!!!!!!!
Easier way to under stand the billing statement ie water use
I still would like to receive a paper bill for a receipt for my records. I do pay online. Re-design or shrink the bill for less paper usage.
Would be great if I could download my bill from the CVWD website.
1) I wish I could see my e-bills online and not have to remember to save them from my billing email. 2) I would prefer monthly billing, except I know reading the meters monthly would add operating costs which would end up being passed on to customers.
Offer a discount for seniors and offer a discount for paperless billing. Do not switch customer billing to anything other than the current 6 times per year because you will surely pass the cost down to us, the customers.
Have payment due date on the same date with each billing - just like credit cards do. This makes it easier to remember when the bill is due.
Can you make monthly billing optional?
senior adults are not computer comfortable to get E bills. unable to use and do not like.
I don't mind e-billings - HOWEVER - I am an Extremely busy person (home & business owner with big dog and granddaughter living at home and no immediately family to help) - so I would NEED constant reminders when my bill is due, especially with statements at 2 month intervals....does that make sense?
We are billed with our space rent at our mobile home park
I pay on line but I still prefer paper billing.
Lower your outrageous water rates and then everyone will be happier with your billing process. I don't mind paying for the water I use but I do believe you keep changing the tiers so we end up paying higher. Bills.
I would like to see billing allowed through my BofA bill pay account, as many other utilities and service companies do. I could then receive and set up payments directly through my account, instead of receiving an email with my bill, and then having to remember to sign into my bill pay account when I pay my bills.
Lower your outrageous prices for the water we use and everyone would love your billing. As long as you charge unfair prices people will find fault with you.
Your rates are too high. My bills are around $400.
I pay bills on the 1st of the month and the 15th. It seems your bills always come in between my normal pay cycles with a short lead time. Can you change that?
Bills are way to high, especially since we use much less water.
If the online statement looked more like the paper bill I would consider switching. The online statement is not a PDF I can download.
with a drought being talked & written about so much, why are we building so many new apartments & condos? it seems we will be paying more now & water bill is high enough!
Please send info on signing up for e-billing.
I prefer the billing the way it currently is.
The only reason I prefer paper billing is because my computer was out of service a few times over many years, and while I was researching a replacement I did not have access and might have missed a payment.
E-billing users should be given some kind of discount since those who sign up are really saving CVWD money
