Trout creek needs proper stretching area and quiet pool during summer is stretched to max. Golf course is doing great job repairing fairways but still has more to do. Marina is stretched to max. Staffing everywhere are a jewel. We need to keep them.

Trout Creek needs to be expanded to allow areas for stretching and conditioning instead of being forced to use the hallways.

The lifeguards at Trout Creek pool need to be trained not only to provide safety, but also customer service/satisfaction. I witnessed the pool closures, which made little sense the way they were administered, and left kids in tears.

The plumbing at Trout Creek is my most significant complaint. Nearly every shower and faucet in the facility is defective or not operating optimally. Please replace or repair.

First, implement the planned gym side renovation and expansion at Trout Creek. Second, follow up with another round of Trout Creek expansion focusing on the pool side. Third, fund the trails at a much higher level, with more full-time staff, and work to improve and expand the trail system, with an eye to creating more connections both inside and outside Tahoe Donner.

Marina and Trout Creek are overcrowded on holidays and summer weekends. They should be expanded if possible to accommodate owners and the owners guests. Short-term rental users could be limited at peak times as they contribute nothing financially to the TD community.

The front desk people at Trout Creek are rude. Need some customer satisfaction training. Frequent visitors are treated differently than those that don’t visit as often.

Expanding and upgrading the year-round-used Trout Creek Rec Center . There is no room currently for some needed equipment and warmup exercises require putting mats in the hallway. Constant use is the key. Food service at the pools is a big plus since it was added.

Northwoods pool is not important to me, except that is provides a valuable alternative and alleviates overcrowding at the Trout Creek pool.

I am looking forward to the approved expansion of Trout Creek Rec Center. Currently I am NOT able to do the major conditioning exercises (non-machine based) that are important to me because there is no space for these activities. I make the hall area work when possible, but the 2-3 mat sized spaces that exist in this traffic area are not consistently available and it is not really possible to do balance, agility and strength work in this very limited space.

As an owner I would like to use the Trout Creek Pool on holidays and not have to fight for chair space and pool use with renters. Be realistic and charge them much more to open up usage by owners. As I have written before, take down the "private ammenity" sign from Trout Creek, It is an insult to the owner who pay it. Also shut down the camping ammenity. With TD built out, what owner uses it; It serves no purpose to the ownership group as a whole.

wish both pools opened earlier in the day and that northwoods pool was open after 5pm (trout creek gets too windy late in the day). Please, please have a rule for NO glass at the beach marina - post the rule and enforce it! I've found broken glass in the kiddie swimming area. Also, wish the grill was open later, for those times we want to eat at the beach but didn't plan ahead to bring our own food. Otherwise, love our time here! thanks :)

I wish that the lap pool at Trout Creek was regulated better, especially after the large play pool closes. Lots of kiddos playing up there when they get the boot from the big pool.

Better classes at Trout Creek,

The beach club is too crowded down by the sand, and way too many people claim seats with towels in the morning and then leave, so seats are empty. But unusable. And outlaw popups. The gym is too busy at peak hours, but I think it’s being remedied. Trout creek pool is nice, but you don’t allow kids to play there, no games. No floats. Nothing. It’s boring for kids.

Need a LOT more shade at Trout Creek pool.

I'd love it if there were more trash cans down in Euer Valley. Love having the doggie bags and trash cans at the Wolfgang trailhead and at Moondance hut. It would also be nice to have drinking water in the huts. Otherwise if the only amenity was the trails and open space I'd be happy till Winter when I enjoy the XC Skiing! I do get a massage at the trout creek rec center and appreciate that.

Get the Trout Creek update done! Put money into improving the Golf Course, particularly the burned-out sections on a number of fairways.

Was at Trout Creek pool on a Tuesday and the pool was shut down for a "code brown". This is unfortunate -- but I was disappointed they shut down the pool =deck= for the rest of the day (at 1PM). FYI -- Our local club here shuts down the pool for a shorter period of time (2 hours) and does not shut down the pool deck. They've also started a no swimming unless potty trained strategy - which reduced such incidents.

Our favorite amenity is the Marina, but it gets so crowded sometimes that we enjoy it less or we go in the evenings instead, after crowds leave. The Trout Creek pool also gets unbearably crowded sometimes. I wish there was an "adults-only" hot tub area to relax in peace.

The kayak storage situation needs to be addressed. There is not enough space. If you did not allow SUPs to be stored horizontally and built more vertical storage areas, this would leave more space for kayaks. Also, the rumor is that you can lease space from the Donner State Beach and don't. This would be a viable alternative for storage too. I want to give a shout out to the swim lesson program. It is excellent. (Trout Creek)

I would like better shower and locker room facilities at the tennis center. It the trout creak rec center I'd like more basic toiletries in the locker room, like combs, shaving supplies, moisturizer. I'd also like to have movable umbrella stands at the pool in the summer.

Trout Creek needs more staffing, more cleaning, and fewer people. The exercise rooms are too small and need to be expanded. Classes are crowded.

Trout Creek is my #1 amenity and it is very heavily used. We need to keep up on the maintenance and cleaning. Please don't get me wrong - I think every employee there is doing a terrific job; it's just so heavily used that current staff can't keep up.

Trout Creek needs to be properly staffed, consistently cleaned and management needs to address all of the bad press. There is an immense amount of gossip and talk about the leadership at Trout Creek. I don't know what is true and what is not, but the level of dysfunction there is not in the spectrum of "normal."

None Trout Creek is well done

My only complaint so far (and we are rather new) is that there are so few umbrellas at the Trout Creek Pool, and there are none close to the pool for watching little ones. Makes it a long hot day. I"m also surprised there aren't more onsite food options there during the summer.

Overcrowding. Too may STRs. At Marina no parking. Too may trailer parking spots. Beach too crowded. Charge guests not with owners $50 plus for entry(per person). This is not McDonalds ie volume not quality. Same for Trout Creek. So Sad

I am not happy with the delay in re-opening the Beaver trail from the Trout Creek to the Northwoods area I am not happy with the proposed changes to the garbage collection - people who live off the hill will see arrangements change for the worse -

I marked Trout Creek Fitness and Pools as just Satisfied because I know renovation will take place to make me feel Very Satisfied about that amenity. Same is true for the other amenities I marked Satisfied: Upgrade them and then I will mark Very Satisfied (Equestrian got that mark since it is newly upgraded). Please make sure All amenities are well maintained as per the Tahoe Donner Vision statement. That is what our annual assessment is for. Spend the money.

Recommend moving the equestrian arena next to equestrian center and converting the arena into multi purpose use area. I support the expansion of the Trout Creek Center.

My only complaints will be solved with the planned work on Trout Creek

I believe Trout Creek will have to be expanded indoors to accommodate more users. The large pool seems to be sufficient in size, albeit a bit crowded on holidays.

The golf course bathrooms should be updated to be actual bathrooms, not holes in the ground. The one between holes 2 and 12 should be updated. It's difficult to flush the toilet and difficult to reach the toilet paper. There are other improvements that have been proposed that should be done. The Marina is overflowing with non-members. We don't use it often but find it almost impossible to find space there. Trout Creek may have the same overuse problem, but we use it for classes and haven't had a problem.

Guests should be limited at the Marina and Trout Creek during holidays and busy periods. Right now, it is difficult for owners to use these facilities, especially the Marina during the summer holidays and weekends, or to use Trout Creek at Christmas or other holidays. At a minimum, guests during busy times should be limited to those accompanied by an owner.

Trails are great. Trout creek is great. The 'adventure center' was a mistake. Is watching TV and drinking beer an adventure? More cross country skiing, more changing room space, locker space, etc. Less bar.

Expand Trout Creek gym facilities. Eliminate the tent, or take it down between events. Allow only acoustic music.

Love the Marina, but parking at the Marina on a weekend is virtually impossible. Trout Creek is awesome.

During holidays and busy weekends in the summer, guest access at the Marina and Trout Creek should be limited or restricted. Right now residents/owners are having trouble using their facilities at these times. At a minimum, guests should be limited to those accompanied by an owner at these times.

Closure of Trout Creek due to special events are not acceptable, working spas and right temperature spas are extremely important to us. Cleanliness of restrooms/shower a must!

I'd like to see a steeper charge for 'outsiders' who come and use our facilities, particularly the Marina and Trout Creek. We are inundated with outside guests or rentals, and this is NOT a tourist attraction. We are a homeowners association, but the homeowners are often pushed out by the outsiders. We should have pricing that is truly competitive with the rest of the LAke Tahoe commercial basin because many of these people come here for the cheap pricing.

Improve playability of the golf course by restoring the greens to their former quality, improving turf in the fairways and rebuilding bunkers with new sand. The Trout Creek fitness center is too small and crowded.

trout creek weight room is too small & equipment needs updating, would be nice to have indoor tennis court. Love the new trails and open space!!! Tennis center is one of the best in California!! Don't love the golf course, seems too expensive to operate....

My family, currently does not use a several of the amenities so I cannot comment on them (e.g. Trout Creek, tennis, etc.). For those amenities I do use, especially the trail system, Adventure Center, Marina, Golf, etc., I am extremely happy with the quality of the venues, grounds, trail system, etc. Those are what brought me here and made me want to purchase a home, here.

Trout Creek Rec Center is in DIRE need of renovation and expansion...Get Going!!!

1. Donner beach needs covered areas and careful development for more family use. 2. Trout creek needs an adult spa. It is totally fair to have a place where seniors--who also pay their dues--can have a place away from splashing kids or parents with toddlers determined to bring them along. There are playgrounds, pool areas, and many amenities designed for the young, but the older folks get nothing. 3. Build a larger family pool at the Northwoods clubhouse...That's a great site, develop it! 4. A better Northwoods Blvd Circle bike lane needs to be developed. The speed of cars (US!) is stopping riders rom getting out on their bicycles. Do not impede the drivers, this is a major thoroughfare and there is a need to move cars along. BUT work with the Town to add a two-way paved bike path around the whole circle--AND down to the beautiful trail that proceeds down to Oldtown. Right now there is no place to take our bikes across the road there, and it is horribly dangerous.

I would like to see better bike parking at Trout Creek and the Marina, including some modern and permanent fixed (in the earth) bike racks. I don't like the closing the driving range for nearly a week to hold the annual waterpalooza and summer concerts. Can these events be held somewhere else that doesn't impact our Summer amenities? Perhaps at the downhill ski area?

I'm not dissatisfied with anything. I think having healthy food options at Trout Creek.. like a juice bar/ cafe would be an exceptional addition especially in the summer months. I think Northwoods Pool is an unnecessary amenity especially with Trout Creek being right up the street... expanding this park area seems like a better use of space.

When offering classes it would be nice to have the proper equipment ie water class does not have any new equipment and often cant use existing equipment as there are not enough for the class Better cleaning of the pool and gym more welcoming staff at the trout creek front desk

Much improved hours of TD Bike/cross country ski center during ALL seasons with more programs, activities,social events and minglers .... trout fitness center....bigger, not so hot in treadmill area, more classes, upgraded amenities

The grill at Trout Creek Rec should have a food truck in the parking lot to provide a close kitchen! It would be great if food orders did not have to be delivered from The Lodge. We waited a long time for a recent food order...personally got a flattened, cold hamburger. My husband had over cooked fish tacos. Our order had been split...food for kids arrived first and adults got theirs about twenty minutes later. There should be a ball machine for Pickleball players. Would like to have the downhill ski lodge updated!
