Internet access is now a basic need for everyone and the access determines economic and social status. We need to provide quality untethered internet access to all.
Remote areas of El Dorado County do not have access to high speed internet and it is very expensive via satellite. There is no streaming capabilities because plans are outrageous for unlimited data. Unable to price shop for internet TV and stuck with satellite for internet and tv. Help in the rural areas. Can't get Netflix.
Internet infrastructure, while nominal with many places in the country, is generally poor when compared to other first-world countries. We can do better.
For many years we only had satellite internet service. In spite of being only 1 mile from Highway 50, we live on a road that is not maintained by the County and did not have access to high speed internet. Thankfully in December 2012 we got access to AT&T Uverse and it has been a very good and reliable source. MUCH better than satellite...
High speed internet is vital for both business and education. We need strong infrastructure as more and more move here to telecommute.
There need to be multiple options at an affordable price. Too many of the internet services have small data limits that really negate the service
The only Internet I can get at home is through Verizon. No internet providers are available in my area
Most of the time reception is adequate. The once weekly glitch that interrupts internet programming from Netflix or Hulu is a little annoying, but not a concern.
We need phone and internet only, not TV. ATT doesn't offer any reasonable options for these bundles together.
All of the different internet providers and their respective offerings are confusing to a low-tech person like me. And then, after picking a provider and plan, I may not even get the speed that I'm paying for. I don't know how to verify whether or not I'm receiving the access/speed that I'm paying for.
1. Better Cell coverage in rural areas to run "constant" 4g hot spots for internet services. 2. At county and city centers and Urban areas (city of Placerville/Cameron Park/ED Hills) need Fiber Optic lines and runs for better faster connection for city/county business and local businesses.
access to internet in public areas would be nice.
We have Charter. AT&T also offers internet, but it was too slow. Charter works sometimes and when I do speed tests, it seems to be relatively fast -sometimes even above 50 MBps. However, add a teenager or two on the same internet and nothing works. We tried to stream a movie on Saturday night and it kept stopping every 5 minutes! But, the speed test said I had high speed, but I really didn't....
High speed internet is extremely important. My husband works exclusively from his home office and I frequently work from home. I know many people in El Dorado County who have poor internet access and I know of several homes that didn't sell because of poor internet access. This should be a high priority for the county.
We are feet away from Comcast, 30k to reach our house per their estimate, no "line of sight" to get better service. ATT lowest speed is all that is available besides cost and service prohibitive satellite internet (HughesNet).
We need to provide internet access to all residents of El Dorado County. I currently have to use a mobile phone hotspot because high-speed is not available through traditional sources and satellite internet is too expensive.
Discontinue requiring a discretionary use permit for internet facilities. This is necessary infrastructure akin to telephone poles and should approved and installed without the threat of dismantling by NIMBYism.
Please prioritize this! It hurts our economy to not have internet speeds that are capable of handling the amount of people in our area.
I live less than a mile from Safeway in Cameron park and my option is ATT which is slow and goes out alot or Cal.net It would be nice to have his speed internet
I have both AT&T and Hughesnet, and it’s atrocious! It would be delightful to only need one provider. A provider who provides lightning fast internet.
We currently have cellular internet which is not reliable and can be intermittent. This is a big problem because I work from home and it affects my ability to work. The only other option in my area is satellite, which is even worse.
In My area we cannot get cable and we have copper wire - no fiber. Me and many of my colleagues and friends have either AT&T which is horrible at this time due to the lack of upgrades, or we have satellite (HUGHESNET)for both phone and Internet which works well but NOT with VPN or Citrix services....we really need to upgrade to Fiber in this day and age for many purposes to include getting a higher caliber of home owner....It is my opinion that if business people cannot work with computers at their homes they cannot earn a decent waged living and will not purchase homes or business in our area. We are not THAT remote anymore!! Please help?
Fiber should be available to all El Dorado County Residents, including Lake Tahoe Basin residents. In addition, competition is key to keeping the costs low. Having only a single option for high speed internet at my home is UNACCEPTABLE.
In addition to the low overall speed, I find the internet to be highly unreliable at my home. The disparity between what we have here and my friends have in the Bay Area is incredible.
Our internet is very very slow and it goes out a lot... Would love to have faster internet...
Internet in Tahoe is awful when the town is full or it rains/snows
I live in an area where internet is easy to get. I have heard it is an issue selling a home if internet is hard to get.
Rural high speed internet access is still lacking
It is ludicrous that in 2018, many areas of EDC do not have access to internet. It is a crucial part of life in today’s day and age.
Would be great to other options besides Xfinity for high speed internet.
We were originally with AT & T for Internet services. We changed over to Charter Cable. After research as to why our AT & T internet services were extremely bad to NON existent, we found out that AT & T did NOT have internet Service Station lines to properly service us in our 96150 area. We live in a very basic central location here in South Lake Tahoe. Ski Run BLVD and Hwy 50. Charter's service is so very much better. Something is very very wrong with AT & T internet services in El Dorado County / South Lake Tahoe area. This complaint I found was through out South Lake Tahoe. AT & T would always use the excuses, "Well, with all the extra tourist in town with the Century Golf Tournament (Or any other large event taking place in South Lake) Our lines are completely jammed... Nonsense... None of the Casino Hotels use AT & T provider services due to the extremely bad quality service. AT & T needs to spend the money for the needed proper equipment to fix their problem, not excuses.
Please look into poor cell service. Tahoe’s West Shore has numerous dead spots. This also effects internet service.
Internet access is very poor in this County. We had only the option of satellite-based internet, which was metered and ran out mid-month once my kids used it for homework purposes. We were able about a year ago to switch to a "line of sight" from a neighbor (forget what it's called!) and that is better but not great. It is still slower than anywhere else I've lived, by far. Thank you!
My internet is very slow, I have the fastest available. It goes out hundreds of times per day (according to U-verse tech) and costs $45/month. I use my cell data all the time.
We currently live in El Dorado Hills and have Comcast, and the internet speed and quality is great. We have been looking at buying property in the Rescue or Shingle Springs area, and we are having issues finding good quality internet that you can rely on. Unfortunately we find that most of the homes out there have lousy internet, and unfortunately internet speed and quality is a make or break it for us, as my husband works from home. Comcast charges very high dollars to run internet out to homes on acreage, I think the County should try and work something out with them to get the pricing down.
Please improve our internet access. Access to broadband would bring positive economic outcomes.
we need more internet options in edh that doesn't cost an arm and leg
We previously had Wildblue internet and as much as it could have been better, it actually wasn't all that bad.
I have a Fiber Optic line running directly in front of my property that could provide high speed internet for my home business but it's limited to public agencies (fire, schools, etc). I assume a lot of money went into laying that line and am dismayed that adequate foresight was not used to expand it's capabilities to local businesses (at minimum) if not residences. I wouldn't think the number of users in this rural environment would eat up enough bandwidth of Fiber Optic capabilities to diminish those agency's usage. To wit, my satellite internet has cut in & out several times in the past couple of hours alone due to the weather, thus interrupting my business operations, as well as my ability to respond to this survey. I have contacted Comcast for wired services multiple times but the quoted cost of $21,000 to run a line here is ludicrous.
The density of housing is low in my neighborhood hence the lack of high speed internet access. I use my iPhone as a personal hot spot over the dial up access I have. Much of the county is rural and becomes difficult to provide for given economics. Some sort of assistance or mandate to providers may be necessary to better serve the population at large.
There is a consistent variability between the advertised internet speed I pay for, and what I actually receive.
When will the Rubicon area have some internet choices?
Internet access is vital for attracting and keeping commerce local. My expectation and need is to have fast and reliable internet access. I’ve used 3 ISPs and none meet my expectations.
I live on the Divide, where internet access is a problem for many residents here. In my experience, the lack of stable, reliable internet service is a major impediment for economic growth in my area. I have family members who would love to purchase a home here but won't because they cannot support their business without reliable broad-band. Something must be done!
With wanting to complete most of my shopping online for home delivery, high speed internet is an important factor. I also have school age/college age children that have online classes and high speed internet would be a more reliable factor. What we currently have does not sometimes work.
Internet access is so variable, and there doesn't seem to be any interest in the big companies to improve their service or offer other options. I'm lucky to have a line of sight to a local provider, but many aren't that lucky and have very limited, and often expensive, options.
THe home office must have internet based telephone and high speed internet!
Charter Communications internet service is basically a monopoly since there is no other "high speed" internet service available. My Charter internet "basic service" for internet only in 2010 was $19.99/month. I am paying now the lowest monthly rate of $31.99/month. Customer wanting only internet access are at the mercy of internet cable monopolies where there is really only ONE cable provider!
It would be great to have some competition. Right now in South Lake Tahoe the only high speed internet is Charter-Spectrum. I would like to see other options that offer the same or better high speed service. I would also like to have internet that doesn't lag on Friday nights and other high use times.
We live in unincorporated area of Placerville. Internet service is very deficient. It is one of the reasons we would like to move as we are unable to keep pace with technology or interact with others effectively.
Speedier and dependable delivery to the internet.
I would like to have carrier options. Right now I only have access to AT&T internet service and it’s very slow.
I CAN'T EVEN GET AT&T INTERNET THROUGH THE PHONE LINES AND DON'T HAVE PHONE SERVICE WHEN POWER GOES OUT. NO INTERNET/CELL SERVICE BECAUSE TOWERS ARE SO FAR AWAY. VERY DANGEROUS TO BE SO REMOTE WITHOUT PHONE SERVICE.
Keep the county economically alive. We cannot be that with state of internet service we now have in the business, educational and homes.
I get internet through Spectrum with my cable service. Outside of the house, I do not get very good service.
ATT has the hardware to enable DSL in our neighborhood, according to their own technicians, yet have not turned it on. We consider this a betrayal of their customers. Also, one KEY use of a reliable internet connection (you did not ask about uptime) is to replace the over-priced ATT landline.
To have a viable area you need small/midsize businesses to employ people and as a business you need solid internet in this day and age.
I live off of Union Mine and Church Mine in El Dorado. There is no internet service available.
There is only on high speed provider out in the county where I live (Egret Way off South Upper Trucker). AT&T only offers DSL with speeds of 6MBPS and charges an outrageous $50 for it.Charter hasspeeds guaranteed of 30MBPS for about the same price. The problem there is if you bundle internet and phone and the service goes down, then you’re totally disconnected since cell service is nonexistent out here too. Would be great to have more high speed options, especially as I work from home.
Our power in Grizzly Flats goes out regularly enough (but not often) that we feel isolated. Another member of the family uses internet on daily basis for financial work and decisions.
Most places don't have good internet. I bought this house specifically because it has high-speed internet.
don't let internet service providers A) pass their costs of expansion/improvement onto their customers/county, and B) slow/block certain websites (Keep net neutrality!!! The internet has become as necessary in people's lives as electricity and water!)
We need internet for business use as well which is more important
I pay for increased internet speed.
Internet availability in rural EDC is horrible. My family is lucky. Too many people out here have nothing or satellite.
While my particular area around my home has decent internet service, I have many family members that are not so lucky. We need to expand the opportunities for all County residents.
Definitely a need for faster and more reliable internet service in Cool Ca.
Only 2 service providers in Meyers, and Charter, while faster, is flaky (and $$). Would be nice to introduce more competition (and more consistent Internet access).
Having children on home study programs, internet is imperative for their education.
Home internet access is not the only internet that is important to the economic activity of the County. Greater internet access to mobile improves commerce for example by having a lyft service to wineries.
Been here for over a decade and the IoT is evolving quickly now for sure, need my internet for home security as well.
wish we had more options for choosing internet at home service. Plus more options when out in the county
Internet speed is extremely important. Comcast and AT&T and not investing resources in older communities to provide top speeds. It is possible that they might not be seeing ROI on homes/mile of cable put in which results in stunted speeds and not enough competition.
We desperately need high speed internet access all around up here at the Lake. I've been to people's homes that still have internet service that practically crawls. So many people are moving up here and working from home. We need to fix this! Work with Tahoe Prosperity Center to get it done quickly. Thank you
Not enough service providers - no choices. Our household sees providing high speed internet as one of the top three priorities for growing the economy and encouraging good paying jobs in our community.
high speed internet is not optional. It is required to access vital government services and for work related projects
Internet access is a basic minimum for communities
Need way faster internet infrastructure please.
Access to reliable high speed internet is of utmost importance. Those without it are almost second class citizens unable to participate in modern society, public speech, remote medicine, etc, etc, etc. We really need a policy that incents internet service providers to provide reasonably priced high speed internet access to ALL residents of El Dorado County. This should be treated like electricity and telephone access was in the last century.
It is my cellular service reception that is bad at home, not my cable internet/TV. Not sure why my Verizon doesn't work well on my street. Overall, I think having providers service this area is what we need, with individual choices by homeowners as to what works best for their household.
I would love to have more options for high speed internet
I find it ridiculous that Comcast thinks it is reasonable to price 50mbps for my business account at a higher rate than my 150mbps at home. Why does Comcast get the monopoly for fast internet? Why can't AT&T provide the same? BRING US GOOGLE FIBER
There are more than 1 blind spots in the area that do not receive access. I cannot connect to my internet along Silva Valley and some portions of EDH Blvd.
It has greatly effected the family not having high speed internet. Home work, school access, and business were at a standstill when we moved into our home on Sierra springs drive. We have no cell phone signals and our HughesNet (which was the only option) works intermittently at best and the signal strength averages 2-3. The community as a whole would benefit exponentially from better internet, especially our home bound or disabled community members. In our technologically advancing society internet is a necessity for quality of life and affects our ability’s to stay connected with family friends community and the outside world.
Need more reliable telephone either voip via internet or landline. Tried both, neither works reliably to support my working from home.
Only get high speed internet thru cable service (Spectrum/charter), ATT has AWFUL speeds and no plans to improve No other options
We have excellent internet access.
Internet access is intermittent
Would love to have faster internet. Comcast not available in our neighborhood (Highland Hills), so our choices are very limited. We have AT&T as do our neighbors, since that’s about the only choice, but apparently they aren’t expanding their capacity to allow for newer homes. Our next door neighbor built his house 3 years ago, but had to pirate our internet for a year because these providers don’t know how quickly homes are being built in this area.
I am able to get internet via Comcast but it is expensive. I'm luckier than friends who have less access. Not part of your survey but I have problem getting my cell phone to work at my house even though I'm only 5 miles east of bell tower & on a ridge.
37 years of no or lousy internet connection. Help!!
We really only have one choice for internet—- not competition. Other 2 options have very poor speeds
It is high time to fix the problem with the dismal internet connection. They are slow and the allowance is small. Pls do something!
I never thought of asking my real estate agent about the availability and speed of internet services and quality of broadband until I heard the horror stories of those who purchased homes and have awful, inconsistent or no high-speed internet. In 2018, we should be able to find a way to provide more reliable, high quality internet service to California residents, even those in more rural areas. Maybe not the forest, but reasonably populated areas. Thanks for addressing this issue.
We do not have access in the hills east of El Dorado Hills. It would be nice if the internet was available up the hill.
Fiber to the household is not realistic in the vast majority of EDC locations. Internet access via cellular is also problematic without a robust cellular infrastructure. At home in Governors Village, my Verizon service is sparse and sporadic. I get a message for a missed call, and get a 'no service' when checking voicemail. Trying to get internet services just does not work in this situation. MY AT&T internet provider wanted me to upgrade to a fiber level service and assured me I have fiber to the house (which is not available in my area?
High speed internet access is a basic utility, not a luxury service. Our entire community should be affordably wired to promote the success of all community members in personal, educational and professional pursuits.
Fiber internet would be great
I wish there was a way to make sure we all had the ability to choose from any provider. May parents live 3 blocks away on Lomond Drive and they barely could get internet access and not high speed because its not available to the street they live on.
Poor internet reduces home values and therefore tax revenue.
We need better internet access at our house!
I resent that Comcast operates news and entertainment content, foreign language and sports channels I do not watch but increasing rates subsidize, as well as broadcast distribution, delivery and access through subscribers. Morally degrading content and PC standards of judgment do not represent values that promote common decency and civility. Competitors for internet service tend to be far inferior, especially for those using satellite providers in hills and valleys where Comcast and AT&T do not have infrastructure.
Assuming this survey pertained to home connections only, I am fairly satisfied. Cellular service/Mobile Internet access on the other hand leaves a LOT to be desired.
Everyone needs affordable internet service.
I don't have kids or work from home so I would expect internet to be important for those people
It will be difficult to get high-speed internet to remote locations not on the top of a hill in a cost-effective manner.
My internet service is not consistent and seems to be particularly bad during high tourist times. Streaming is not an option with the service I have. Additionally, I only have one option for internet service.
The entrepreneurial talent is waiting to be tapped and high speed internet is the vehicle!
I think it would be great for the county to provide internet access throughout, with high speed wifi. It is absurd the prices Comcast charges. The others that are fast enough are about the same. Then, people can spend more money in our county at local businesses ($75 or more each month savings!). Cellular is still too expensive to really be one's internet. Wouldn't just a small property tax increase fund it?
We have fairly high speed internet but it seems to regularly crash and then we have no access at all. Considering we also have horrible cell service, it then leaves us unable to communicate/ access the internet
High speed Internet access is vital for home values and the economy
Rural el dorado county needs high speed internet. Our kids are at a distinct disadvantage age when they don’t have access to decent internet service!
Please do the research on the dangers of 5G cell towers. I will gladly have a slower internet instead of health harming EMF’s that will also lower home values.
If there was a plan for improved and affordable high speed internet in the county, that plan should be of utmost importance. The internet is now the telecommunication system of the times, and probably for the future for both home and business.
A lot of homeowners in rural El Dorado county do not have high speed internet access.
From time to time, the internet gets slower than normal (not just weather related).
5G and broadband internet should be available to all households in El Dorado County.
I have no ability to access the internet in Rubicon Bay from AT&T... they do not have equipment/connection availability. Wireless or satellite options are not cost effective.
Internet access seems to briefly cut off frequently
We need better internet in Mosquito. Allow for the new cell towers to go in. And internet for both att and Verizon
Getting better wireless internet would be awesome.
I think if we can log onto a tutorial explaining the process on how to log into the secured server would be helpful. I understand the process now, but when I first started it took a while to activate my internet service via the secured website.
It is difficult to pull lines throughout the county. I would suggest having ATT or Verizon put in many cell towers in more rural areas and dead zones to cover. This way people have the option to purchase cellular routers and still get high-speed internet wirelessly.
The Internet access is patchy at best and so is the cellular service
A reason to move here or not does depend on internet speed...
It's critical that the county develop a fiber optic to premise infrastructure serving all county properties as AT&T withdraws from landline Internet and the cable franchisee offers service only within a limited footprint. Fiber landline infrastructure is necessary because wireless service cannot reliably serve all properties due to the county's terrain and foliage obstacles.
I highly recommend adding a question to the survey regarding location of residence. High-speed internet in Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills is much more abundant than in Somerset and Strawberry, and the needs are different. Even if you asked a question like these below: How far do you live from the nearest city? <1 mile 2-5 miles 5-10 miles 20 miles or more How would you describe your neighborhood? Within city limits Suburb Rural Remote This will inform you more regarding specific need. Thank you.
While this Flash Vote might collect information about people's sense of Internet usage/needs/speeds across the County, I believe the needs are in specific areas. How are you collecting the responses to reflect where they are coming from? At the end of the quiz, you could have given a link to "for more information," which could generate more input and comments/participation in such things as the Broadband Initiative.
Why does one County building have Internet Access for the Public and another does not?
The only internet available to me is cellular ("MiFi hotspot"), and it is not nearly enough. Satellite is still not a viable alternative. There are no cable / broadband options available to me at all. That needs to change.
The internet is extremely slow and cuts out often. This causes me a twenty minute delay each time as I have to log back in to multiple applications to resume my work.
Consider installing fiber optic to help rural residents connect to the internet. This is an important capability as our world continues to evolve at a rapid pace.
We got rid of our internet because the service was so terrible. We had to buy a sprint iPad and a sprint phone with hotspots because they work better for home internet than what we had. But sprint doesn’t work anywhere except our house so we have Verizon as our cell phones. A working high speed internet, like Comcast, would be appreciated in the Kesley area.
Internet speed is “fine” during the morning but then slows down throughout the day. It’s unusable during times when there is a lot of people in town. Both internet and cell service go down.
High-speed/fiber optic internet is extremely important to the economic viability of this community. More and more people are working from home and rely on internet services. This should be a top priority for our local governments. I expect reliable high-speed internet. Would also like to see other competitors - essentially there is currently only one option for high-speed (charter/spectrum). the other service providers (frontier and satellite) do not offer high-speed (60 mps+)
No economical Internet services for summer vacation home (i.e. no month-by-month services) use at Rubicon Bay.
We need more widespread internet service providers. I currently can't get a strong enough signal at my home, therefore we do not currently have it at home.
We will be moving soon and the new location has minimal internet service options. South Shingle/Latrobe area would be nice to have more options
I need reliable high speed internet access for both download and upload. The reliability needs to be in the public utility level - always available, with no interruptions.
Speaking soley for myself and my wife, we had a two year period where the internet was ao unrealizable, I just couldn’t understand why we were paying for it. It was actually reliably unreliable in that every night around 8 it went out until the next morning. It’s not super important, but in keeping with the times, it seems we should have reliable internet services as a community to communicate, emergency services, etc. doesn’t have to be super fast, simply reliable.
I live 2 miles south of Diamond Springs, off of Patterson Dr. No Comcast. No AT&T Wi-Fi (only land line). Limited to no Verizon Wi-Fi. I have unreliable, slow Hughes.net satellite service (good weather dependent). I am 1/2 mile south of Deer Park Estates that has all of these service providers available. My neighborhood consists of parcels 5 acre or larger with no current incentive of service providers to construct my way. I am not optimistic about my future internet service.
We have tried to get higher speed internet through several vendors with no success. Nothing is available at our address in Cool except low speed AT&T. Very frustrating.
We recently moved from Meyers (Lindenwood Drive) to Montgomery Estates (Golden Bear) and have been very dissatisfied with the internet speed in the Golden Bear neighborhood. We switched internet providers (from AT&T to Charter) and have seen an increase in costs. My wife works full time from home and I work in an office and from home. If the County wishes to stay competitive in attracting working professionals investment in high speed internet is a basic tool that needs to be provided. The County should not view high speed internet as an additional benefit to working professionals. Providing high speed internet is as basic as it comes today for working professionals.
Although I am happy with the current internet service, we have only one provider, AT&T. I would like to see more choices, specifically, Comcast.
We need more internet provider options to get the best service and price.
I would love for it to be fast more consistently. The internet service will occasionally hang up and things won't load - occurs simultaneously on different devices so I know it's not just old software or a buggy website. Smooth fast and less expensive is my expectation
Internet access in El Dorado County is very inconsistent. Some areas with larger population centers have decent internet access, but in rural areas access is poor and the options for getting access are very limited. I live in Cool and internet access is hit or miss all of time.
I feel that everyone of us living in El Dorado County should not except the inefficient internet service we are given. I know most of us have no choice either! From dropping wi fi intermittently to high Latency its awful...
It would be nice if Comcast would expand more Into rural shingle springs. That would allow for more high speed internet access where they already have a small footprint. If el dorado county is considering allowing a franchise it would be a good idea to require them to provide access for schools like they did many years ago in Sacramento county. - Dustin Koelzer
There shouldn't be any excuses for the slow internet in El Dorado County.
I can’t change my service because it is no longer supported. Some how you need to entice internet providers to build infrastructure and support it. Be sure environmental concerns are always addressed.
Good internet is no longer a luxury but a necessity in today's economy. El Dorado County would benefit tremendously by partnering with internet providers.
5th generation (5g) wireless represents 1,000 times the performance of existing 4g networks, making wired internet unnecessary for most households and businesses. Consider a public/private partnership to extend 5g service into underserved areas of the county, possibly using in-road fiber laid using micro trenching for backbone service that is leased to wireless access providers. This could open up new areas to smart farming and home-based knowledge workers - plus provide infrastructure for smart public safety sensors and resources into areas lacking anything of the sorts.
We constantly have internet go down. Our cell coverage us minimal and we rely on WiFi calling. So when it goes down, we also lose cell connectivity.
I just hope that by putting out the survey you guys are thinking about improving the Internet in our area. It really is quite awful.
There are minimal options for internet service at my home on Forebay Road in Pollock Pines. I am hoping that changes in the near future.
may times the internet reception is so intermittent and just when I want to get online. Possible larger bandwidth to allow more users at the same time...
Need to upgrade infrastructure & provide more service options. Charter which is ridiculously expensive for internet.
If we had a better option for reliable high speed internet, we would switch providers in a heartbeat!! Unfortunately, the current options are limited and not much better speed than what we have at this time.
We need fiber optic internet services that run through our neighborhood but AT&T refuses to update into previously established communities. Salmon Falls/Malcolm Dixon/Green Valley Rd corridor.
Internet access is very important in EDC. I would like to see it continue to improve
We need affordable high speed internet access in Fairplay (Somerset). Currently we have to use either satellite (hughesnet) or set up a hotspot off of our cell phone on an AT&T over air signal. Having stronger 4G or 5G network signals in the area would also be beneficial>
