Handicapped access to Incline Beach and Burnt Cedar Beach.
(1) Provide a fenced-in dog area. (2) Power outlets near the Tiki bar on Incline Beach so bands do not need to string extension cords from the snack bar area.
Sidewalk on Incline Way
Still think the ice rink at Incline Beach is a winner. No cost to IVGID; companies will provide as a service.
Campaign to get people to pick up after their dogs. Begin process to make Incline pedestrian friendly. We need more paths!
currently there is no public trash can between Burnt Cedar beach and Incline Beach. How about installing one in proximity to the mailbox in the area of Juanita?
Paint and repair the bathroom fixtures ( running toilets & dripping sinks) at Incline beach and the golf courses.
Beautification of the old gas station area at the west end of Incline Village. It's the first thing people see as they arrive by car.
1. Winter dog beach access should be expanded to include Incline Beach. This would have nearly zero cost and would benefit thousands of dog owners. There are very few other visitors to I.B. in the winter and thus there's conflicts. 2. Provide better enforcement of the wildlife/trash rules (well, frankly, at this point "any" enforcement would be a positive change.) 3. Improve financial reporting transparency (also nearly zero cost) especially for capital improvements. For example, the budget summaries should include total spending on each project otherwise it's really impossible for the Trustees and public to know how were are doing on budgets.
Bocce court at Incline Beach.
Install outdoor gas heaters at the Incline Beach Snack Bar Patio.
Incline is beginning to feel like a strip mall. It wants to feel more like a village. I don't know how to do this but maybe you do.
Improved bathrooms at Incline Beach.
Ditch the Master Plan and lower our annual rec fees. Stop charging everyone same rec fee and charge by usage. Stop trying to make Incline Village Disneyland.
I miss the old cross country skiing that Incline Village once had. Something to compliment cross country/snow shoeing would be my vote.
More grills and grill clean up tools at Incline beach. More picnic tables there.
Remove ugly, green water slide at Burnt Cedar. (Seldom used) Improve the appearance of Tahoe Blvd. so it looks inviting like Truckee or Tahoe City, i.e. flower baskets, better sign control. Christmas Tree Village needs regulations for signs and ugly buildings. Get rid of old gas station on Lakeshore turnoff to I.V. Clear snow from bike paths in winter so they're walkable. Make a rule that visitors cannot "buy" beach passes at rec. center. Put pressure on Washoe County School District to make good use of old elementary school land, i.e. park or space for summer art festivals. No one can see bronze exhibits in roundabout. They should be moved to beaches. If Meals on Wheels is cut from budget, ask for volunteers to do the driving and meal preparation. Project Mana should be allowed to store their food in Incline at a reasonable rent. Would be nice to have more public celebrations, maybe a Cinco de Mayo event in the Village Center?
Reduce the music noise at Incline Beach. Have visible "rovers" that know how the equipment works (especially the new equipment) at the Rec Center. Eliminate the Friday 9:15 class in the gym, because the noise level of the music for that class, has been a source of irritation for those in the fitness room and no suggestion has been acceptable by staff or the instructor. Why not limit the amount of participants and have two classes and put the classes back in the upstairs room? Give the locker rooms a disinfectant cleaning, including the rust/mold on ceiling. Hang repellent items for Yellow Jackets near picnic tables. Have one picnic area for non-profits and families that cannot afford the cost of the permit. Thank you for requesting and funding this survey Matthew.
Swings at incline beach
Lower your scope and try to do a better job with your current responsibilities. The Board needs to make sure the staff knows that they are accountable and that their efforts have to be transparent, or IVGID will be mired in lawsuits forever. Work to become more professional. That doesn't cost anything and will immediately pay benefits. The people of Incline are very well educated, will notice the difference and applaud it.
Plan an extensive 'hiking trail' system inside incline village.... Imagine if most of us could walk from our front door to the hiking trail system.....
Put up signage, similar to what has been installed for Incline Village, at the West most entrance (State Line) to Crystal Bay on 28. In other words, equal / similar treatment of both of IVGID's communities.
Improve the way cars line up at the entrance to Incline Beach to better manage the interaction between cars, pedestrians and bicyclists. Signs, painted lines, temporary stanchions?
) Enforce the NO DOG rule at the beaches during off seasons (except Ski Beach). Many people ignore the very prominent signs so have IVGID employees do periodic visits and issue written warnings. 2) Publicize in local media and put up signs around town that there is, in fact, a dog leash law for Incline Village (Washoe County Codes) and push local law enforcement to issue tickets to dog owners who's dogs are off leash in public places, especially on trails and on roads within Incline Village.

Not leave it in a bag on the trail to pick up on the way back or never pick up.
build trails in Diamond Peak connecting to the Rim Trail, Incline Flume, and the State Park
Smaller vehicle (such as golf carts) parking at beaches, fire pits at the beach, summer concessions on weekends at snowflake Better snack stand/bar facility at Incline beach Fire
Swing set at incline beach. More vendors at the farmers markets. Summer happy hour at diamond peak bar
A ramp over the deep sand at the kayak launch area at Incline Beach. The deep sand makes it hard to pull kayaks on wheels out and up the beach.
Swings at Incline Beach. Or pickleball courts at the tennis center.
Provide hourly or every 1/2 hour beach shuttle service from different areas at Incline Village--Raley's pick-up, Mountain Golf Course Pickup, etc. It would reduce emissions and reduce the volume of cars heading to the beach areas.
Better monitor parking on incline way safety issue parking on street and shoulder of road hard for walkers and bikes dangerous corner
Update snack bar st incline beach.
Please figure out a better solution for parking throughout IV. Cars are parked everywhere; it's unsightly, can be unsafe, and can lead to contamination of groundwater and the lake. Also, dog poop. Everywhere you go to enjoy the outdoors you find dog poop. I don't have a sound solution for this issue, but it's really bad for the lake and it's just plain gross. I think the operation at the kiosk at Incline Beach could be better organized to be more efficient. Mixing incoming and outgoing cars with walk-ins is pretty tough to deal with some days. Obviously, the 4th of July is a special kind of torture for locals, and that's not really fair. Us locals can't enjoy the day at the beach, because it's completely nuts, which takes all the fun out of it. And, oh the litter. Seriously, embarrassing. That's all I can think of for now.
Landscape incline beach in between the parking lot and the beach
Better washing station at Incline beach. The hoses are ok, but better drainage would be an improvement.
Section off area for year round dog access at the beach Continue and enhance music at the bare foot bar. Great for local music and community Consider sponsoring more community events during non ski season at diamond Peake. Octoberfest was a major success. Need more community music and beer events with games and options to raise money for local causes. Have concerts or events at incline beach on Saturday's. Beer, music, beach, will bring people and people would be willing to pay with proceeds going back to community Weekly night concerts on the village green. Maybe even on Thursdays. Encourages weekenders and tourists to come for the weekend early. A couple times a summer, or maybe just once, have an open beach event to draw people to raise money. Put on a semi formal incline ball. A dance at diamond Peake, proceeds going to incline.
Create a real downtown for Incline Village , where we could walk, shop, sit without cars.
Fix up the snack bar at Incline Beach (awnings, umbrellas, etc)
Offer Valet Parking at Incline Beach
More green space available to the public. Work with other community partners-SNC, LTS, Washoe School. Incline lacks true public space
More sidewalks. Incline is not a walkable town and it would be nice if it was.
Increase the pool temp!!!! More benches near all the playgrounds. Shovels to place ashes in at all bbq areas. SEVERAL FOOT WASH AREAS AT INCLINE BEACH NEAR THE PATH AREAS (one on the west side of the snack bar, one on the east side near the grass area). Stop watering the fields so often near soccer season (this saves $$ on water use and field maintenance). BIKE PATH ON ALDER, so pedestrians can get to the library, especially school kids.
Cross country ski trail at Incline Lake. Historic Street lights on walking path on Tahoe Blvd
1. Beautify the intersection of village and Tahoe Blvd. 2. Build an easy trail up to snowflake lodge for dinner hiking. 3. A piece of public art; better if it could be created by IV student(s) 3. Build another bocce ball court at incline beach. 4. More barbecue grills st the beaches.
music more often at Incline Beach, more kayak storage,
local drop box where you could leave or take unwanted CDs or DVDs habitat garden (which exists to support wildlife) Bench at the corner of SR28 and Lakeshore (EAST where the Incline Village sign is) this is a great starting/ending spot for runners/cyclists.
Again, Incline Village is a great place to live. It's fine the way it is. I don't really see that there is anything broken that needs to be fixed or that we need to waste $10,000 on.
Monitor dogs at Incline Beach during off season. They run loose, people don't pick up after them inspire of the no pets signs.
Pleas consider ceating more connected walking paths/sidewalks to make it easy for pedestrians to move about Incline Village (e.g. incline Way, Country Club etc.)
Water stations at Incline Bike Project
A swing set at Incline or ski beach would be great. There used to be one there before they revamped it.
*IMPORTANT- Organize monthly walkthroughs the town to pick up all the trash that is in the drain systems before it flows into the lake. Provide more garbage cans around the town and in front of businesses for people to dispose trash at ease during the summer. Build another volleyball net "men's regulation" at Ski beach or Incline Beach.
Float rentals at incline beach and burnt cedar so we don't have to carry our own to the beach
parking for passholders only at Incline Beach during busy periods new lounge chairs for Incline Beach A fence or other device to stop Hyatt guests & others from using Incline Beach
DEVVELOP THE VACANT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL INTO A PARK TO SERVE THE LOW INCOME FAMILIES AT INCLINE APARTMENTS.
Fix the kink in the boat ramp by grinding and filling with concrete so boats dont hit it and get stuck and make the problem worse Add a swing set somewhere on Incline Beach
improve snack shop at Incline beach with updated kitchen and small deck with a few tables. Put a few big screen tvs in bar at champion golf course and eliminate small tvs that can not be seen and our useless.More golfers would stay for food and drink!
